eLearning Design
My philosophy of eLearning has to do with accurately identifying how people should behave after taking your course that they couldn't have done or weren't doing beforehand, and making sure that change takes place.
This means absolutely knowing where your learner is coming from and bringing them along to where you want them to go. I apply the principles of LX design to needs analysis, content extraction, instructional design and storyboard writing. I will then either manage development or work with your graphic designers and programmers to create the appropriate look and feel of the final program. I can also provide oversight, feedback and quality assurance or project management during the course development phase. What differentiates me is my creativity and my ability to put myself in the place of the learner. With my screenwriting background, I have a special touch with scenarios and interactive simulation building. I write interactive modules that engage the learner's prior knowledge while imparting new information, with exercises such as scenarios that reflect real life situations. l have a talent for finding the right questions to ask ensure comprehension and application of skills, as well as addressing their motivation to do the job properly. I have the experience to take a project from beginning to end or I can jump in at any point. I have experience with video editing, Storyline authoring and animation. |
